Roca London Gallery Visit

Waking up early and viewing a room full of toilets doesn’t sound like the most luxurious activity to schedule into the calendar, however, for the showroom team this was exactly their mission on one autumnal October morning. Both Neil & Josh attended an open morning at The Roca Gallery, located in the centre of London’s Chelsea Harbour, which offers an immersive experience where interior design, ceramic and modern technology is combined. The gallery not only serves as a stage for Roca’s finest pottery pieces, but also as a hub for cultural exhibitions and events on various different themes such as; architecture, design and sustainability.  The building was designed on the overriding theme of water which was curated by the late British-Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid in 2011.

Throughout the gallery, displays of Roca’s Fine Ceramic creations can be viewed and appreciated as this new compact material technology is to set to revolutionise the design, lightness and performance of sanitary ware. Additionally, new product launches such as the Ona Collection can be seen in prime position upon entering the gallery. Ona has been designed on the core principle of paying homage to Roca’s Mediterranean heritage as well as incorporating Supraglaze technology within the ceramic. Ona’s furniture offers a sophisticated and sleek finish with three colour options Matt White, Matt Grey & Matt Green that can simultaneously compliment any bathroom’s grand design.

If you thought coloured sanitary ware was a thing of the past then think again… NO we’re not about to say that there has been a resurrection of avocado green or coral pink, the new movement in coloured ceramic foresees an increase in subtle neutral palettes. The Spanish design pioneers newly launched the Roca Beyond collection which incorporates new colour formations within their vitreous china including Beige, Coffee, Onyx and Pearl as opposed to the traditional white finish. Roca Beyond allows consumers to design a complete bathroom in any of the colour finishes without compromising on design or functionality. Now available in our showroom to view.

Something not to miss when visiting the Gallery is the recent Roca and Armani collaboration. Elegant and boutique style finishes subtly accessorised with brushed steel brassware is a touch of class and ultimate luxury, guaranteed to leave an everlasting impression on anyone who has the privilege to enter your bathroom.
